In a defensive battle, V-O finished off Northern Stars 2 - 1 at Parade South on Saturday. Neither team got the puck past the goalie in the first period. Northern Stars gained one goal in the second period to break the tie and take the lead. Northern Stars was up one to zero, but things would take a turn for the worse in the third period. V-O engineered a comeback in the third period with two straight goals, winning in the end.

Mary Pat Noonan and Donna Leicach each contributed one goal for V-O. Bayers added one assist for V-O.

Jolene Erola added one goal for Northern Stars.

Leading the way for V-O, Beth Chaplin stopped 26 shots. Despite having a great day, Northern Stars's Amanda Reed blocked 28 out of 30 shots on goal.

V-O continued their current win streak of two games and ended up with a record of 11-3. Northern Stars ended the game with a record of 9-9.
