Blade Runners beat V-O 4 - 1 at Parade South on Saturday. Blade Runners racked up three goals to take the lead in the first period. Blade Runners added one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. V-O scored one goal in the third period but it was not enough to close the gap, so they lost the game.

Teresa Burton netted one goal for Blade Runners and also had one helper. Katie Swor netted one goal for Blade Runners and also had one helper. Susan Rolandelli and Beth Borg each tallied one goal for Blade Runners. Fenske and Elemes each tallied one assist for Blade Runners.

Displaying a golden glove, Blade Runners's Kathryn Rehwaldt stopped 22 shots. V-O's Beth Chaplin stopped 10 out of 14 shots.

V-O ended the game with a record of 8-3.
