GAME RECAP FROM MONDAY, NOVEMBER 1

Monday's home game for the Minnesota Mean versus the Badenovs ended in defeat with a score of 3-0. 

Goaltender Shelby Rasmussen faced 17 shots, three of which went in. Badenovs' goaltender Franni Marshall faced 24 shots, which resulted in a shutout. After a series of dangerous scoring chances, Badenovs struck first at 10:35 of the first period. The tide seemed to be in the Minnesota Mean's favor in both the first and second periods, as they hit a series of pipes, side of the net, and missed juicy rebounds. During the third period, the Badenovs took charge and Mean spent a lot of the period in their zone. At 13:14 of the period, Miranda Mulvihill found the penalty box for a crosscheck. The Badenovs sealed the deal with two third period goals, the last one occuring with 10 seconds left of the period. The Minnesota Mean will have another shot at the Badenovs on January 8. 

Minnesota Mean's next game is on Sunday, November 7th, on Augsburg Rink B at 10:45am.
