Thursday's home game for the Minnesota Mean versus the Eastside Cake Eaters ended in victory with a score of 6-1.

Goaltender Shelby Rasmussen faced 9 shots, letting in only one goal. Eastside Cake Eaters' goaltender Alex Barber faced 40 shots, 34 of which were fantastic saves. Minnesota Mean's Alison Sommer received a penalty at 10:15 of the third period for tripping, while Eastside's Ashley Krinke received a penalty at 6:30 of the third period, also for tripping. It was a close game until the third period, where Mean's pure numbers wore down Eastside's short bench. The Minnesota Mean were able to tally four of their six goals during that time.
