Both defenses battled it out, but Chaos overcame Lucky Pucks 2 - 0 at Highland North on Thursday. Neither team managed to put points on the board in the first period. The second period was also scoreless. Chaos broke the ice with two goals in the third period to finally win the game.

Having a perfect day, Chaos's Leah Hiniker stopped 10 shots. Lucky Pucks's Jessica Larson blocked 17 out of 19 shots on goal.
