Kassiann Keister shoots two goals while Wildcats makes forwards' life difficult to squeak by for the win on the road

In a close game, Wildcats won against Northland Thunder 3 - 2 at Wessman on Saturday. Wildcats outscored Northland Thunder two to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. Both teams racked up one goal in the second period but Wildcats held on to the lead for the win. The Wildcats defense took over in the final period. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Wildcats conserved its lead, and was the winner.

Showing off a strong stick, Kassiann Keister netted two goals for Wildcats and also had one assist. Kimberly Gubernot tallied one goal for Wildcats. Triplett tallied one assist for Wildcats.

Tara Tyykila and Nichole Mathews each tallied one goal for Northland Thunder.

In the crease, Wildcats's Brittany Daniels blocked no shots while allowing two goals. In goal, Northland Thunder's Abby Sweiger blocked no shots allowing three goals against Northland Thunder.

Wildcats now has a record of 11 wins and 14 losses. Northland Thunder ended the game with a record of 12-15.
