Rochelle schrofer drills two goals while Hinotes Heroes effective on defense to grab the win on the road

Hinotes Heroes beat Whammies 4 - 1 at Augsburg on Thursday. Hinotes Heroes outscored Whammies two to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. Hinotes Heroes added two goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Whammies were not able to answer back. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Hinotes Heroes protected its lead, and was the winner.

In the first period, Whammies's Rebecca Curtis put the biscuit over the goal line with an assist from Katherine Lupton, with 6:25 left on the clock. Pushing back, Hinotes Heroes's rochelle schrofer got a goal with an assist from Susan Sajevic, with 5:00 left on the clock, tying things up. Hinotes Heroes kept going when schrofer yet again put the biscuit over the goal line once more with 4:30 left in the period. Susan Sajevic assisted on the goal, taking the lead 2 to 1. This sealed Hinotes Heroes's victory. In the second period, continuing the roll, Hinotes Heroes's Lyndsi Harworth netted a goal with an assist from rochelle schrofer, with 17:56 left on the clock, to get further in the lead. Adding another score for Hinotes Heroes, Jennifer Klaustermeier scored an unassisted goal, with 7:50 left on the clock, to get further in the lead.

Turning in a good performance, rochelle schrofer scored two goals for Hinotes Heroes and also had one assist. Jennifer Klaustermeier and Lyndsi Harworth each contributed one goal for Hinotes Heroes. Susan Sajevic made two points.

Racking up saves in the box, Hinotes Heroes's Pilar Gibson blocked 14 out of 15 shots on goal. Whammies's Kari Menzia stopped 14 out of 18 shots.

Hinotes Heroes added to their current win streak of two games and now has a record of 19-7. Whammies ended the game with a record of 1-15.
