Both defenses were solid, but Macalester beat Chicks With Sticks 2 - 1 at The Pond on Saturday. Macalester and Chicks With Sticks both scored one goal to end the first period tied. Macalester took the lead in the second period with one goal. It would prove to be too much for Chicks With Sticks. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Macalester protected its lead, and was the winner.

Amelia Franklin and Inga Roen each contributed one goal for Macalester. Whitis tallied one assist for Macalester.

Kimberly Coppens added one goal for Chicks With Sticks.
