Flyers Fails To Score Against Marshals 7-0

Kelly duffy rips two goals, Marshals effective on defense to win and shut down the other side, increases string of wins to 5 games

In a shutout, Marshals prevailed against Flyers 7 - 0 at Augsburg A on Sunday. Marshals tallied up two unanswered goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Marshals added one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. The Marshals defense took over in the final period. In the final period Marshals scored four straight goals sealing the deal and winning the game.

Marshals's kelly duffy got two goals for Marshals and also had one point. Getting started, duffy put the biscuit over the goal line in the first period with assists from Denise Alto and amy kiecker-olson. Marshals was in control from then on. Continuing their roll, duffy put the puck in the net in the third period. amy kiecker-olson assisted on this goal. Kelli Schlittler, Denise Alto, Megan Fuches, Sabrina Radke, and Natalie Pinault each contributed one goal for Marshals.

Racking up saves in the box, Marshals's jill nordstrom finished with 26 saves. Flyers's Carmen Ventrucci Peterson had just 45 saves on 52 shots.

Marshals extended their winning streak to five games and now has a record of 19 wins and 4 losses. Flyers ended the game with a record of 3-23.
