In a tight contest, Foxes triumphed over Thunderbirds 5 - 3 at Buffalo Civic Center-New on Sunday. Foxes and Thunderbirds both scored one goal to end the first period tied. Both teams scored two goals in the second period and remained tied. The second period ended with both teams at three goals each. Foxes added two consecutive goals in the third period to break the tie and take the lead, grabbing a late victory.

Leading the way to a win for Foxes, Jessica Briol scored the hat trick with three goals. Sara Reisdorf and Krisanthy Sikkila each contributed one goal for Foxes.

Thunderbirds finished the game with a record of 13 wins and 9 losses.
