Leaving their opponents in the dust, Foxes defeated Macalester 7 - 1 at Highland Ice Arena (North) on Tuesday. Foxes tallied up two unanswered goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Foxes gained three goals in the second period and held on to its lead. In the third period, Foxes outscored their opponents by one goal and kept the lead to win the game.

Having a huge day, Helen Stramer made two goals for Foxes in addition to two points. Sara Reisdorf, Krisanthy Sikkila, and Karen Kukkonen each contributed one goal for Foxes.

Foxes ended up with a record of 8-9. Macalester ended the game with a record of 1 win and 17 losses.
