In a shutout, Galaxy prevailed over Breakaways 3 - zero at NE Minneapolis on Sunday. Galaxy tallied up one unanswered goal to take the lead in the first period. Galaxy added two unanswered goals in the second period and held on to its lead. The Galaxy defense took over in the final period. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Galaxy held on to its lead, and was the winner.

Jean Porter made one goal for Galaxy and also had one assist. Zoe Jacobson and Tristia Pettey each contributed one goal for Galaxy. Jeffries contributed one assist for Galaxy.

Racking up saves in the box, Galaxy's Flannery Dolan blocked 12 out of 12 shots on goal. Breakaways's Susan Hamilton finished with 14 saves.

Galaxy ended their losing streak of three games and now has a record of 12-10. Breakaways ended the game with a record of 8-13.
