Jan Bachman golden with a hat trick while Penalty Box a defensive stronghold to get the shutout win on the road

In a shutout game, Penalty Box prevailed against Black-Eyed Pucks 11 - 0 at Maple Grove Arena East on Saturday. Penalty Box tallied up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Penalty Box added eight goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Black-Eyed Pucks's fate was sealed. In the final period Penalty Box scored two consecutive goals improving its score and winning the game.

Showing strong scoring ability, Jan Bachman netted the hat trick with four goals and also had one point. Getting started, Bachman Bachman netted a goal. melanie draper assisted on this goal. Penalty Box turned up the pressure when Bachman got a second goal in the second period. melanie draper assisted on this goal. Rolling on, Penalty Box's Bachman Bachman got an unassisted goal. Next, Bachman Bachman put the puck between the pipes. melanie draper got the assist on this goal. Leading the scoring for Penalty Box, Brenda Cassellius got the hat trick with three goals. Things got going when Penalty Box's Cassellius netted a goal in the first period with an assist from Rachel Bryant. This solidified the win for Penalty Box. During the second period, Cassellius scored another goal. suzie levy got the assist on this goal. Penalty Box fired up their game when Cassellius put the biscuit over the goal line in the second period with an assist from Anne Nehring. Beth Squires, melanie draper, suzie levy, and Anne Nehring each added one goal for Penalty Box.

Turning in a perfect performance, Penalty Box's Shelly Cassellius stopped four out of four shots.

Black-Eyed Pucks finished the game with a record of 0-22.
