Winning by a large margin, Puck Hogs beat Surly Misfits 8 - 1 at VMIA on Sunday. Puck Hogs outscored Surly Misfits three to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. Puck Hogs added four unanswered goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Puck Hogs never looked back. In the final period Puck Hogs scored one goal adding to their overall lead and winning the game.

Leading the way to a win for Puck Hogs, Taylor Dornik got the hat trick with four goals as well as three points. Sabrina DeMars contributed one goal for Puck Hogs.

Puck Hogs's Julie Brandt had eight saves on nine shots. Surly Misfits's Jodi Halweg had just 35 saves on 43 shots.

Puck Hogs extended their winning streak to seven games and ended the game with a record of 25-1. Surly Misfits finished the game with a record of 2 wins and 24 losses.
