In a lopsided victory, Nutcrackers prevailed over Mean Muggers 10 - 2 at Augsburg Rink B on Sunday. Nutcrackers outscored Mean Muggers two to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. In the second period, Nutcrackers scored four goals to Mean Muggers's one and kept the lead. Nutcrackers's defense shut down Mean Muggers for the rest of the game. In the final period Nutcrackers scored four goals cementing the lead and winning the game.

In well played offense, Whitney Schaff got two goals for Nutcrackers in addition to two points. Nutcrackers's Breanne Johnson scored two goals for Nutcrackers. Having a great day, Allison Schwab netted two goals for Nutcrackers and also two assists. Molly Doyle and Laura Vannelli each tallied one goal for Nutcrackers.

Nutcrackers continued their current win streak of two games and ended up with a record of 16 wins and 6 losses. Mean Muggers ended the game with a record of 17-6.
