Defenses slugged it out, but Nutcrackers beat Shenanigans 2 - 1 at Augsburg Rink B on Sunday. Neither team managed to put points on the board in the first period. Nutcrackers gained one unanswered goal in the second period to break the tie and take the lead. Both teams scored one goal in the third period but Nutcrackers kept the lead for the win.

Grace Olson got one goal for Nutcrackers and also had one helper. Allison Schwab added one goal for Nutcrackers.

Jackie Keller contributed one goal for Shenanigans.

Nutcrackers continued their current win streak of two games and now has a record of 16-6. Shenanigans ended the game with a record of 17-4.
