In a tight contest, Xplosion beat Blade Runners 4 - 3 at Parade South on Saturday. Xplosion outscored Blade Runners two to one to jump in to the lead at the end of the first period. In the second, Blade Runners outscored their opponents to tie things up. The second period closed with both teams at three goals each. Xplosion took the lead in the third period with one goal and won the game.

Xplosion's Desiree Galvan netted two goals for Xplosion. Karen Ryan and Carron Perry each contributed one goal for Xplosion.

Xplosion's Susan Welles made 19 saves. Blade Runners's Kathryn Rehwaldt stopped 12 out of 16 shots.

Xplosion moves to a record of 6 wins and 15 losses. Blade Runners ended the game with a record of 11-8.
