In a shutout victory, Mystics beat MCM 6 - zero at Richfield 2 on Saturday. Mystics scored two straight goals to take the lead in the first period. Mystics added three unanswered goals in the second period and held on to its lead. It would prove to be too much for MCM. In the final period Mystics scored one goal piling on and winning the game.

Mystics's Linnea Loren netted two goals for Mystics. During the second period, Loren put the puck between the pipes. Mary Frey got the assist on this goal. Mystics pierced the defense when Loren put the biscuit into the net in the second period. Ingrid Borkoski got the assist on this goal. Jessica Nelson, Emily Pellow, Julie Dolan, and Rebecca Clotts each tallied one goal for Mystics.

Racking up saves in the box, Mystics's michele van vranken finished with 12 saves. MCM's Margaret Slonine had only 44 saves on 50 shots on goal.

MCM finished the game with a record of 1-25.
