Defenses slugged it out, but Crew beat Fine Lines 2 - 1 at Highland South on Sunday. Fine Lines tallied up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Crew took over the lead in the second period with two goals. Crew's defense shut down Fine Lines for the rest of the game. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Crew conserved its lead, and was the winner.

Teresa Rogers scored one goal for Crew and also had one assist. Mary Tillman contributed one goal for Crew. Nicholson contributed one assist for Crew.

Julie Landkammer tallied one goal for Fine Lines.

Crew extended their winning streak to three games and now has a record of 9-8. Fine Lines ended the game with a record of 5-9.
