Shutting out their opponents, Chaos prevailed against Breakaways 6 - zero at Highland North on Thursday. Chaos racked up four straight goals to take the lead in the first period. Chaos added two goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Breakaways were not able to answer back. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Chaos conserved its lead, and was the winner.

Chaos's Joy Schlager scored two goals for Chaos and also had one point. Kathy O Connor, Dawn Pepper, Amber Hill, and Char Miller each contributed one goal for Chaos.

Racking up saves in the box, Chaos's Dana Cudo turned away eight shots. Breakaways's Susan Hamilton had just 33 saves on 39 shots.

Chaos now has a record of 12-5. Breakaways finished the game with a record of 7-12.
