In a tight contest, Synergy defeated Sharpshooters 3 - 1 at Pleasant Arena on Sunday. Neither team managed to score in the first period. Synergy took the lead in the second period with two goals. Both teams scored one goal in the third period but Synergy kept the lead for the win.

Contributing to the win for Synergy, Julie Jorissen scored two goals for Synergy. Barbara Allan got one goal for Synergy and also had one point. Nancy Altena had two helpers. Tupper and Blossey each tallied one assist for Synergy.

Kris Duryea contributed one goal for Sharpshooters.

Showing off a strong glove, Synergy's Katherine Foster stopped 15 shots. Sharpshooters's Lindsay Murr had 23 saves on 26 shots.

Sharpshooters ended the game with a record of 13-10.
