In a close game, Blue Diamonds defeated Bombers 3 - 2 at Super Rink #3 on Wednesday. Blue Diamonds and Bombers both scored one goal to end the first period tied. Blue Diamonds took the lead in the second period with two straight goals. Bombers added one goal in the third period but it was not enough to win the game.

Kara Anderson, Julie Jurchisin, and Cheri Frandrup each added one goal for Blue Diamonds. Megan Stang made two points. Heinen and Engels each added one assist for Blue Diamonds.

Holly Struss and Ann Rabe each tallied one goal for Bombers.

Bombers's Heidi Michaels had 24 saves on 27 shots.

Blue Diamonds continued their current win streak of five games and now has a record of 18-3. Bombers finished the game with a record of 6 wins and 15 losses.
