Winning by a large margin, Hinotes Heroes prevailed over Flyers 9 - 2 at Augsburg A on Wednesday. Hinotes Heroes scored three straight goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. As the second period unfolded, Hinotes Heroes outscored Flyers two to one and kept the lead. In the third period, Hinotes Heroes scored four goals to Flyers's 1 and kept the lead to win the game.

Having an outstanding day for Hinotes Heroes, Tomma Freundschuh netted the hat trick with three goals and also two helpers. Hinotes Heroes's Freundschuh got a shorthanded goal in the first period. Lyndsi Harworth assisted on this goal. During the first period, Freundschuh put the biscuit over the goal line for a power play goal with assists from Susan Sajevic and Devie Erickson. Steaming onward, Freundschuh netted a third goal in the third period with an assist from Tracy Sellin. Hinotes Heroes's Susan Sajevic made two goals for Hinotes Heroes and also had one assist.
