Defenses ruled the day when Blast prevailed over Renegades 1 - zip at Oscar Johnson on Sunday. Both teams were scoreless in the first period. The period quarter also saw no scoring. Blast finally scored in the final period with one goal and won the game.

Having a perfect day, Blast's Sara Hudoba stopped 13 out of 13 shots. Renegades's Jan Mohrfeld made nine saves.

Blast now has a record of 14-6. Renegades finished the game with a record of 19-6.
