Blade Runners Wins Close Game Against Anarchy 3-1

Beth Seibel-Hunt leads the way with a goal, Blade Runners shines on defense to prevail

In a tight contest, Blade Runners triumphed over Anarchy 3 - 1 at Parade South on Sunday. Neither team got the puck past the goalie in the first period. In the second, the ice was finally broken when Blade Runners outscored Anarchy two to one and took the lead. Blade Runners never looked back. In the final period Blade Runners scored one goal adding to the margin of victory and winning the game.

Beth Seibel-Hunt scored one goal for Blade Runners in addition to two helpers. Coleen Arbeiter and Teresa Burton each tallied one goal for Blade Runners. Swor, Rolandelli, and Bastyr each added one assist for Blade Runners.

Kristen Funk contributed one goal for Anarchy.

Having a huge impact in the game, Blade Runners's Kathryn Rehwaldt finished with 17 saves. Anarchy's Judy Bartolett finished with 10 saves.

Anarchy finished the game with a record of 12-5.
