Annie Dybsetter fires two goals as Ligers effective on defense to win narrowly on the road

In a close game, Ligers beat Outer Edge 3 - 1 at Pleasant on Sunday. Ligers racked up two unanswered goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Ligers retained its lead. Both teams scored one goal in the third period but Ligers kept the lead for the win.

Having an impact in the game, Annie Dybsetter netted two goals for Ligers.

Tonya Allen tallied one goal for Outer Edge.

In the crease, Ligers's Jessi McGehee blocked no shots. In goal, Outer Edge's Jodi Winters had no saves.

Ligers continued their current win streak of two games and ended up with a record of 12-16. Outer Edge finished the game with a record of 16 wins and 3 losses.
