In a blowout game, Riveters won against Flyers 8 - 1 at Augsburg A on Sunday. Riveters tallied up three goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. As the second period unfolded, Riveters outscored Flyers two to one and kept the lead. Riveters never looked back. In the final period Riveters scored three consecutive goals adding to the margin of victory and winning the game.

Having a great day, Suzanne Houser netted two goals for Riveters and also two assists. Riveters's Jenna Bluhm made two goals for Riveters. Lara Turner, Jill Campbell, Jen Rasmussen, and Deidre Lindstrom each contributed one goal for Riveters.

Flyers's Carmen Ventrucci Peterson had just 17 saves on 25 shots.

Flyers finished the game with a record of 3-21.
