In a hard fought match up, Surly Misfits won against Top Shelf 3 - 2 at Plymouth C on Saturday. Surly Misfits outscored Top Shelf two to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. Top Shelf tied the score in the second period with one goal. The second period closed with both teams at two goals a piece. Surly Misfits took the lead in the third period with one goal and won the game.

Showing off a strong stick, Kristin Carlson made two goals for Surly Misfits. Sara Wefel Collison contributed one goal for Surly Misfits. Candi Danek got two helpers.

Erin Stepka and Colleen Goodrich each added one goal for Top Shelf.

Having a standout day, Surly Misfits's Heather Hedin turned away 25 shots. Top Shelf's Beth Chaplin finished with 15 saves.

Surly Misfits ended their losing streak of six games and ended up with a record of 2-22. Top Shelf ended the game with a record of 10-12.
