In a hard fought match up, Blast handed a loss to Sharpshooters 3 - 1 at Augsburg B on Saturday. Blast chalked up one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. As the second period unfolded, Blast outscored Sharpshooters two to one and kept the lead. The Blast defense took over in the final period. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Blast protected its lead, and was the winner.

Contributing to the win for Blast, Anne Woll scored two goals for Blast and also had one assist. Kate Hall contributed one goal for Blast. Shannon Kennelly got two points. Farrell tallied one assist for Blast.

Marni lamberty tallied one goal for Sharpshooters.

Having a standout day, Blast's Sara Hudoba turned away 31 shots. Displaying a golden glove, Sharpshooters's Lindsay Murr stopped 29 shots.

Blast ended their streak of two losing games and ended the game with a record of 13-6. Sharpshooters finished the game with a record of 13 wins and 9 losses.
