Kerri Kimm netted the game winner with 4:51 left in the third period, as Rockets prevailed over Foxes 3 - 2 at Augsburg Rink B on Saturday. Foxes racked up two goals to take the lead in the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Foxes maintained its lead. Foxes was on top two to zero, forcing Rockets to get to work in the final period. Rockets engineered a comeback in the third period with three consecutive goals, winning in the end.

In the first period, things got going when Foxes's Jessica Briol lit the lamp with assists from Maria Stommes and Sara Reisdorf, with 3:25 left on the clock. Foxes fired up their game when Sarah Gaffer lit the lamp without assistance from team mates with 1:55 left in the period, going further ahead. In the third period, answering back, Rockets's Rockets scored a goal. Next, Constance Korf put the biscuit over the goal line without any assistance, with 6:33 left in the period, bringing the game to a tie. Rolling on, Rockets's Kerri Kimm lit the lamp with an assist from Kari Skordahl, with 4:51 left in the period, to go ahead and win.

Kerri Kimm and Constance Korf each tallied one goal for Rockets. RICHARDS, Skordahl, and Bellingham each added one assist for Rockets.

Sarah Gaffer and Jessica Briol each added one goal for Foxes.

Rockets's Kim Erickson turned away 14 shots. Foxes's Jeanne Ekegren made 12 saves.

Rockets ended their losing streak of two games and ended up with a record of 10-9. Foxes finished the game with a record of 7-10.
