In a shutout game, Icy Hot prevailed over MCM 7 - zip at St. Louis Park East on Saturday. Icy Hot racked up three straight goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Icy Hot added two goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Icy Hot's defense shut down MCM for the rest of the game. In the final period Icy Hot scored two unanswered goals adding to the margin of victory and winning the game.

Icy Hot's melissa cable made two goals for Icy Hot and also had one assist. Kerry Ryk, Lisa Marais, Kris Harper, Terasa Bonifas, and Thora Eriksmoen each contributed one goal for Icy Hot.

Showing off a strong glove, Icy Hot's Anne Hatinen turned away five shots.

Icy Hot ended their streak of two losing games and improved to a record of 7-15. MCM ended the game with a record of 1-22.
