Glory Days Shuts Door On Storm 6-0

Jacquelynne Carroll connects for two goals while Glory Days allows few shots to get the shutout win

Shutting out their opponents, Glory Days beat Storm 6 - 0 at Augsburg Arena - Rink B on Saturday. Neither team got the puck past the goalie in the first period. Glory Days added three straight goals in the second period to break the tie and take the lead. Storm were not able to answer back. In the final period Glory Days scored three consecutive goals sealing the deal and winning the game.

Glory Days's Jacquelynne Carroll made two goals for Glory Days and also had one assist. Allison Turgeon, Maureen (Mo) Hardwick, Jamie Hollway, and Kelly Reddin each contributed one goal for Glory Days.

In the crease, Glory Days's Nicole Muske got no saves. In goal, Storm's Renee Brasuhn had just -6 saves.

Glory Days continued their current win streak of three games and ended up with a record of 10-11. Storm finished the game with a record of 8-12.
