Shutting out their opponents, Ligers was superior against MN Xtreme 9 - 0 at Augsburg Rink A on Thursday. Ligers scored two goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Ligers added four straight goals in the second period and held on to its lead. The Ligers defense took over in the final period. In the final period Ligers scored three straight goals padding its lead and winning the game.

Turning in a great performance for Ligers, Juliane Jubinville got the hat trick with four goals and also had one point. Whitney Pearson, Lill Raynard, Ashleigh Miller, and Annie Dybsetter each tallied one goal for Ligers.

Turning in a perfect performance, Ligers's Jessi McGehee stopped 29 shots.

MN Xtreme finished the game with a record of 6-14.
