Puck Hogs finished off Sharpshooters 5 - 1 at Richfield 2 on Wednesday. Puck Hogs and Sharpshooters both scored one goal to end the first period tied. Puck Hogs took the lead in the second period with two goals. Sharpshooters were not able to answer back. In the final period Puck Hogs scored two goals piling on and winning the game.

Turning in a good performance, Jill Pettiford netted two goals for Puck Hogs and also had one helper. Sabrina DeMars, Jennifer Wiberg, and Taylor Dornik each tallied one goal for Puck Hogs. Jaime Sekenski had two helpers. Clare Chapman made two helpers. Newton contributed one assist for Puck Hogs.

Janice Klausing tallied one goal for Sharpshooters.

Having a standout day, Puck Hogs's Julie Brandt had 32 saves on 33 shots. Sharpshooters's Anne Hatinen had only 6 saves on 11 shots on goal.

Puck Hogs added to their current win streak of three games and ended up with a record of 22 wins and 1 loss. Sharpshooters finished the game with a record of 13-8.
