In a tight contest, Chaos defeated Breakaways 3 - 1 at NE Minneapolis on Sunday. Chaos and Breakaways both scored one goal to end the first period tied. Chaos took the lead in the second period with one goal. The Chaos defense took over in the final period. In the final period Chaos scored one goal cementing the lead and winning the game.

Displaying offensive skills, Beth Murphy got two goals for Chaos. Debra Anderson tallied one goal for Chaos. Hill, Pepper, and O Connor each added one assist for Chaos.

Kimberly Mikaliunas tallied one goal for Breakaways.

Showing a super performance, Chaos's Leah Hiniker turned away 20 shots. Breakaways's Susan Hamilton stopped 22 shots.

Breakaways ended the game with a record of 7-10.
