Both defenses were solid, but Voyageurs finished off Golden Stars 1 - zip at St Mary's Point on Sunday. Voyageurs racked up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Voyageurs maintained its lead. It would prove to be too much for Golden Stars. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Voyageurs conserved its lead, and was the winner.

Turning in a perfect performance, Voyageurs's Annette Germann turned away 15 shots. Despite having a standout day, Golden Stars's catherine meggitt had 14 saves.
