Both defenses battled it out, but Cougars beat MCM 1 - zip at St. Louis Park West on Sunday. Cougars scored one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Cougars kept its lead. Cougars never looked back. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Cougars protected its lead, and was the winner.

Cougars ended the game with a record of 11 wins and 12 losses. MCM finished the game with a record of 1-21.
