Sharpshooters won against Surly Misfits 6 - 3 at VMIA on Sunday. Sharpshooters scored one goal to take the lead in the first period. Sharpshooters added three goals in the second period and held on to its lead. In the third period Surly Misfits outscored their opponents however Sharpshooters kept its lead, and won the game.

Turning in a great performance for Sharpshooters, Janice Klausing made the hat trick with four goals and also had one point. Marni lamberty and nicole trueman each contributed one goal for Sharpshooters.

Displaying a golden glove, Sharpshooters's Lindsay Murr made 30 saves. Surly Misfits's Jodi Halweg had just 46 saves on 52 shots.

Surly Misfits ended the game with a record of 1-22.
