Synergy prevailed over MCM 6 - 1 at St. Louis Park East on Saturday. Synergy tallied up two goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the middle period, Synergy outscored MCM three to one and kept the lead. Synergy never looked back. In the final period Synergy scored one goal improving its score and winning the game.

Displaying a great scoring touch, Sheryl Raithel made the hat trick with four goals. Julie Jorissen and Terri Tupper each added one goal for Synergy.

Synergy's Michelle McCoy finished with nine saves. MCM's Margaret Slonine had just 31 saves on 37 shots.

MCM ended the game with a record of 1-20.
