Defenses ruled the day when Blue Diamonds triumphed over Anarchy 2 - zip at Pleasant on Wednesday. Neither team managed to get the puck in the net in the first period. Blue Diamonds took the lead in the second period with one goal. Blue Diamonds never looked back. In the final period Blue Diamonds scored one goal adding to their overall lead and winning the game.

Leading the way to a shutout for Blue Diamonds, Jennifer Lenhart stopped 29 out of 29 shots. Despite showing off a strong glove, Anarchy's Judy Bartolett stopped 24 out of 24 shots.

Blue Diamonds ended their streak of two losing games and improved to a record of 13 wins and 3 losses. Anarchy finished the game with a record of 10 wins and 4 losses.
