Shutting out the competition, Blade Runners handed a loss to Macalester 8 - zip at Parade South on Sunday. Blade Runners chalked up two unanswered goals to take the lead in the first period. Blade Runners gained two goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Macalester were not able to answer back. In the final period Blade Runners scored four goals adding to their overall lead and winning the game.

Blade Runners's Teresa Burton made two goals for Blade Runners and also had one helper. Blade Runners's Susan Rolandelli netted two goals for Blade Runners and also had one assist. Christy Bastyr and Cheryl Vaske each tallied one goal for Blade Runners.

Despite having a great day, Macalester's Sarah Birkholz had just 76 saves on 84 shots.

Macalester ended the game with a record of 2-15.
