In a shutout game, Northern Stars was superior against Bombers 3 - 0 at Mars Arena Duluth on Saturday. Northern Stars scored one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. Northern Stars gained one unanswered goal in the second period and held on to its lead. It would prove to be too much for Bombers. In the final period Northern Stars scored one goal padding its lead and winning the game.

Having a good day, Danielle Amborn got two goals for Northern Stars. Pamela Wutz contributed one goal for Northern Stars. Petrich and hanks each contributed one assist for Northern Stars.

Showing off a strong glove, Northern Stars's Sherri Qualley had 10 saves on 10 shots. Despite having a huge impact in the game, Bombers's Heidi Michaels blocked 33 out of 36 shots on goal.

Bombers ended the game with a record of 6-13.
