Outer Edge beat Ligers 5 - 1 at White Bear Arena on Wednesday. Outer Edge racked up two unanswered goals to take the lead in the first period. Outer Edge added one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. In the final period, Outer Edge outscored Ligers two to one and kept the lead to win the game.

Ashleigh Miller contributed one goal for Ligers.

Racking up saves in the box, Outer Edge's Jodi Winters stopped 14 out of 15 shots. Ligers's Jessi McGehee had only 15 saves on 20 shots on goal.

Outer Edge ended up with a record of 15 wins and 1 loss. Ligers ended the game with a record of 8-15.
