In a hard fought match up, Foxes beat Thunderbirds 3 - 2 at Augsburg Rink B on Saturday. Thunderbirds chalked up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Both teams chalked up one goal in the second period but Thunderbirds held on to the lead. Thunderbirds was on top two to one, but things would take a turn for the worse in the third period. Foxes managed to come back with two consecutive goals in the third period to steal the lead and win the game.

Jessica Briol made one goal for Foxes and also had one point. Sarah Gaffer and Sara Reisdorf each contributed one goal for Foxes. Podvin tallied one assist for Foxes.

Christine Hoepner netted one goal for Thunderbirds and also had one assist. Kristen Lane contributed one goal for Thunderbirds.

Thunderbirds finished the game with a record of 11-5.
