In a defensive battle, Riveters won against Northland Thunder 2 - 1 at Mars on Saturday. Riveters racked up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Riveters gained one unanswered goal in the second period and held on to its lead. Northland Thunder added one goal in the third period but it was not enough to win the game.

Rebecca MacRostie scored one goal for Riveters and also had one point. Jen Rasmussen contributed one goal for Riveters.

Angela Harvieux tallied one goal for Northland Thunder.
