Both defenses were solid, but Kodiaks beat Tracy's Saloon 1 - zero at St. Paul Academy on Saturday. Neither team managed to put points on the board in the first period. Kodiaks took the lead in the second period with one goal. Kodiaks's defense shut down Tracy's Saloon for the rest of the game. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Kodiaks protected its lead, and was the winner.

Having a perfect day, Kodiaks's Noelle Strom blocked 42 out of 42 shots on goal. Showing off a strong glove, Tracy's Saloon's Michelle McCoy had 10 saves.

Tracy's Saloon ended the game with a record of 12 wins and 5 losses.
