In a close game, Sharpshooters beat Blue Chill 5 - 3 at Augsburg A on Thursday. Sharpshooters racked up one goal to take the lead in the first period. In the second period, Blue Chill outscored their opponents to tie things up. The end of the second period saw both teams at two goals each. In the final period, Sharpshooters outscored Blue Chill three to one and took the lead to claim the late win.

Sharpshooters's Janice Klausing made two goals for Sharpshooters and also had one helper. Nicole trueman, Marilyn Franzen, and marni lamberty each tallied one goal for Sharpshooters.

Blue Chill's Jody Wilkens had only 22 saves on 27 shots on goal.
