In a hard fought match up, Macalester finished off Blue Diamonds 4 - 2 at Augsburg A on Sunday. Macalester racked up two goals to take the lead in the first period. Macalester gained one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. In the last period Blue Diamonds outscored Macalester 2 to 1 however Macalester kept its lead, and won the game.

Hannah Whitis scored one goal for Macalester and also had one assist. Emma Brooke-Davidson tallied one goal for Macalester. Michaels and Nichols each contributed one assist for Macalester.

Displaying offensive skills, Megan Stang made two goals for Blue Diamonds. Jean Engels got one goal for Blue Diamonds and also had one point. Korrine Heinen tallied one goal for Blue Diamonds.

Macalester's Sarah Birkholz turned away 34 shots. Blue Diamonds's Jennifer Lenhart stopped 16 out of 18 shots.

Blue Diamonds finished the game with a record of 12-4.
