In a shutout, Hot Shots got the better of Crew 3 - zip at Saint Paul Pleasant on Wednesday. Hot Shots chalked up one unanswered goal to take the lead in the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Hot Shots kept its lead. Crew's fate was sealed. In the final period Hot Shots scored two straight goals padding its lead and winning the game.

Contributing to the win for Hot Shots, Betsy Primeau scored two goals for Hot Shots. Trisha Totenhagen contributed one goal for Hot Shots.

In the crease, Hot Shots's Kris Lindsoe got no saves. In goal, Crew's Christine Berthiaume had no saves.

Hot Shots extended their winning streak to six games and ended up with a record of 12-2. Crew ended the game with a record of 6-8.
