Kerri Kimm scored the game winner with 10:01 left in the third period, as Rockets overcame Foxes 3 - 1 at Super rink 3 on Friday. Neither team managed to get the puck in the net in the first period. Both teams scored one goal in the second period and remained tied. The second period closed with both teams at one goal each. Rockets took the lead in the third period with two consecutive goals and won the game.

In the second period, Foxes put points on the board when Foxes scored a goal. Not standing down, Rockets's Anna Leisz put the puck in the net with 2:22 left in the period. Vicki Denzer and Kerri Kimm got the assists on the goal, to make the score even. In the third period, piercing though the defense, Kerri Kimm put the puck between the pipes with an assist from Anna Leisz, with 10:01 left in the period, to go ahead by 1. Rockets was in control from then on. Piercing though the defense, Constance Korf lit the lamp with an assist from Kerri Kimm, with 7:11 left in the period, to pull further ahead.

Kerri Kimm scored one goal for Rockets in addition to two points. Anna Leisz made one goal for Rockets and also had one helper. Constance Korf contributed one goal for Rockets. Denzer tallied one assist for Rockets.

Showing a super performance, Rockets's Kim Erickson turned away 21 shots. Foxes's Jeanne Ekegren stopped 21 out of 24 shots.

Rockets ended their streak of two losing games and improved to a record of 9 wins and 7 losses. Foxes ended the game with a record of 6-9.
